“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
I began practicing yoga in 2006, and moved to India three years later, where I lived for a year. I studied meditation & yoga philosophy at an Ashram in the Himalayas, trained as a yoga teacher in Goa (Yoga Alliance RYT-200), and lived and served at Sri Ram Ashram (orphanage) in Uttaranchal.
Love and wanderlust brought me to London, England where I taught yoga and worked behind the scenes in support roles with senior yoga teachers and holistic health practitioners. I practiced and studied primarily with distinguished teachers Anna Ashby, Lisa Sanfilippo + Leila Sadeghee.
I did further teacher training with Anna Ashby and Joey Miles at London’s premiere yoga studio, triyoga. I also apprenticed with senior yoga teacher Lisa Sanfilippo for more than a year, where I assisted on classes + trainings, helped develop and write specialized curriculum, and supported on other projects.
I live in Western Massachusetts with my husband and our two children.
